About the movie

Tomorrow (Demain in french) is a globetrotting documentary that focuses on showing how individual actions can solve the social, economic and environmental crisis that our countries are going through.

The two directors and their team traveled into 10 different countries around the world to meet with activists and everyday citizens who are trying to make the world a more sustainable place. They provide a comprehensive look at alternatives to current way of doing in 5 sectors : agriculture, energy, economy, democracy and education. A few exemples are for instance permaculture, organic agriculture, the creation of local currencies, introducing new modes of active democracy… All those powerful solutions are non-utopian are truly inspiring.

This film was produced thanks to 10 000 KissBankers who collected more than 400 000€.

About the directors

The film is co-directed by writer, editor and activist Cyril Dion, who founded the ecological movement Colibris in 2007, the Kaizen magazine and the Domaine du Possible series. The second director is famous actress and filmmaker Melanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds, Le Concert) who feels really concerned about global warming.
