Japanese have used Konjac for more than 1500 years in order to exfoliate their skins daily and Koreans have used it for babies’ toiletries. This root which looks like a potato is found in a mountainous region of China.
You can simply use it with water. Humidify it so it expands and softens.Gently scrub and massage your skin with the sponge to get a good exfoliation and relax yourself.
Right after using it, rinse it thoroughly with warm or cold water to take out any impurities. Then, simply let it dry in fresh air and it will harden back - you can suspend it anywhere with its cotton thread!
As well as water, you can also use it with your normal cleanser and it will not damage the sponge. Just make sure to rinse it well afterwards.
You can use it for 3 months, before it starts to erode - then it can be composted!
If you soak your sponge in warm water, it will help open your pores for a deeper cleansing.
